BREAK AND ENTER LEADS TO CHARGES
Three men arrested
LONDON, ON (March 25, 2025) – Three London men have been charged after members of the London Police Service responded to a break and enter in the south-east end of the city over the weekend.
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, at approximately 12:20 a.m., a security guard responded to an alarm at a business in the area of Hamilton Road and Meadowlily Road North.
When the security guard arrived, three men exited the business and fled on foot from the area.

SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

UPDATE - LONDON, ON (March 25, 2025) – The London man arrested yesterday in relation to the serious motor vehicle collision in the area of McNay Street and Oxford Street East has been charged.

COPPER WIRE THEFTS
Increased thefts noted in the downtown core
LONDON, ON (March 24, 2025) – The London Police Service (LPS) has received reports from London Hydro regarding an increase in copper wire thefts since November 2024. In total, LPS received 23 reported incidents, with 21 occurring in the downtown core. These thefts are not only criminal in nature, but they pose significant public safety risks.

ARSON INVESTIGATION
London man arrested
LONDON, ON (March 24, 2025) – A man was arrested yesterday in relation to an arson that took place in the downtown core on Friday afternoon.
On Friday, March 21, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 300-block of Wellington Street in relation to a working fire on the sidewalk outside a shopping centre.
Members of the London Fire Department extinguished the fire.

FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

UPDATE – LONDON, ON (March 24, 2025) – A fatal motor vehicle collision that took place over the weekend in the south end of the city has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section.
