RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
London man facing charges
LONDON, ON (January 22, 2025) – A London man is facing charges after police recovered a stolen vehicle yesterday morning.
On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m., a man parked a work vehicle outside an organization in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road. A short time later, he observed the truck leaving the lot, travelling westbound on Commissioners Road East.

SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

UPDATE – LONDON, ON (January 21, 2025) – The investigation into a shooting over the weekend on Maidstone Lane continues.
Through video surveillance obtained, investigators learned that a black or dark-coloured Jeep Wrangler stopped in front of a residence on Maidstone Lane near Romney Lane at approximately 3:50 a.m. on January 18, 2025. A passenger exited the suspect vehicle and fired multiple rounds at a house on the east side of the street....

WEAPONS INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance
LONDON, ON (January 21, 2025) – Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects in relation to a weapons investigation from late last week.
On Friday, January 17, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., three men wearing masks approached two employees leaving a business in the area of Spanner and First streets.
One of the suspects brandished a gun and demanded the employees take them inside of the business.

LONDON POLICE SERVICE INTRODUCES BODY-WORN CAMERAS
LONDON, ON (January 20, 2025) – The London Police Service is announcing the launch of Body-Worn Cameras (BWCs) this month.
Today, the LPS will begin a three-phased rollout of BWCs to members of the Uniformed Division, Canine Unit and Emergency Response Unit of the LPS.
Phase one (1) of the rollout will begin on, January 20, 2025, and subsequent phased deployments will occur over the coming year.
