Knife seized, London man charged

LONDON, ON (July 7, 2022) – A London man is facing charges in relation to a weapons investigation in the east end of the city on Tuesday.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., on July 5, 2022, a man was inside a restaurant in the 300-block of Clarke Road, when he approached an employee and produced a knife. The suspect made threats towards a female victim and proceeded to exit the restaurant. Police were contacted.

One woman or girl is murdered in Canada every 36 hours.  A disproportionate number of these women and girls are Indigenous.
