London man arrested

LONDON, ON (April 23, 2025) – A London man is facing charges after police responded to a report of a man with a gun in the north end of the city yesterday.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., a group of men were in a parking garage in the 700-block of Kipps Lane when they observed a vehicle pull into the lot. A man exited the vehicle and approached the men while holding a firearm in his hand. While still in possession of the gun, the suspect male confronted the group of males before getting back in his vehicle and leaving the area.  

There were no reported injuries.

Police were contacted and descriptions of the vehicle and male were provided to officers.

The suspect vehicle was located in a parking lot on Adelaide Street North, and the driver was arrested.

A search yielded the following items:

  • Suspected crystal methamphetamine
  • Replica handgun

As a result of the investigation, Andrew Wladyslaw Milek, 41, of London, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a weapon; and
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance.

The accused appeared in London court yesterday in relation to the charges.
