LONDON, ON (June 3, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run earlier this week.
On June 1, 2022, at approximately 11:15 a.m., a male pedestrian was struck by the open door of a moving vehicle in the area of Byron Avenue and Birch Street.
The driver allegedly opened the door of the vehicle, entered into an argument with the victim, and proceeded to reverse the car, striking the pedestrian in the process.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle is described as small black hatchback, possibly a Mazda, with winter tires.
The driver is described as male, Caucasian, between 30-40 years of age, with short dark hair, wearing a button-down shirt.
